Job Description:

This is a 12 MONTHS FIXED TERM CONTRACT

Role purpose:

As a CRO consultant, you will be responsible for delivering the optimisation strategy to improve the performance of IG's key pages and landing pages.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to reduce key metrics such as CPC, CPA & bounce rates and ultimately drive our sign-up conversion rate.

Your expertise in CRO best practices, user research, data analysis and user behavior/UX will be critical in identifying opportunities to enhance landing page performance and drive measurable results.

What you will do:
You will already have experience in CRO, and analytics or a related field in digital marketing. We're looking for someone with a passion for digital and a desire to improve the customer experience.

  • Analyse, prioritise and implement a CRO strategy and/or set of initiatives (where applicable) to optimise the performance of IG's pages
  • Conduct research (using our internal research team), use web analytics and heatmaps/UX analytics tools tracking to identify areas of improvement for our key pages and the user journey
  • Analyse and interpret test results, draw datadriven insights, and provide recommendations to improve website performance and conversion rates.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, including Media&Acquisition, local marketing teams and the Landing Page delivery team
  • Own/build dashboards to support the monitoring of key page performances across IG's webpages
  • Conduct competitor analysis and benchmarking to identify opportunities and best practices for your tests
  • Communicate performance results and insights to stakeholders, including senior management.
  • Monitor page performance at a granular level (eg channel, keyword), track KPIs, and provide ongoing recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Stay uptodate with industry regulations, legal requirements and best practices

Who you are:
You're upbeat and enthusiastic, and you have an open mind and a curious, can-do attitude. You, like us, understand the importance of collaboration and are driven to be the best in what you do.

You embody our three core values - to champion the client, learn fast together and raise the bar.

You want to be part of a proudly carbon-neutral company that will prioritise your wellbeing and that of the world around you, helping to create a brighter future for all.

A company that embraces diversity and welcomes everyone with respect, regardless of race, age, sexual orientation, gender, identification, faith or culture.

If you're inspired by our way of working and can bring something new to our team of topnotch people, then you'll find a home here.

You'll need:

  • Proven experience owning a conversion rate optimisation programme covering the entire test delivery lifecycle, from research through to posttest analysis and iteration.
  • A good knowledge of how CRO tools work (e.g. Optimizely)
  • A passion for digital design, digital marketing and/or user experience.
  • A good grasp of statistics being able to understand concepts like statistical significance, sample size and error rates.
  • Solid experience with analytics tools (e.g. UA, GA4), including writing SQL for curating data views
  • Strong experience using UX analytics tools (e.g. Contentsquare)
  • Good communication skills to develop relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Experience working in or closely with Acquisition teams

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of data visualisation tools (E.g. Tableau, Looker) and experience working with big data
  • An interest in the trading / investing industry
  • Experience with customer feedback tools (e.g. Qualtrics)
  • Previous experience and success in optimising landing pages with global coverage
  • Experience with personalisation/targeting
