Job Introduction

Would you like to be a part of an exciting new team offering direct support to families experiencing substance misuse? If so, this could be the role for you.

As a Substance Misuse Practitioner, you will have your own case load of parents/carers and will provide safety planning and intervention directly to parents/carers who have problematic drug and alcohol use.

This hands on, collaborative role will involve consultations with parents and carers, as well as regularly working with other practitioners and social work colleagues to effectively deliver evidence-based substance misuse programmes.

Plus, where parents require additional assistance with their substance misuse, practitioners will work closely with the local adult drug treatment service.

Additional Information

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
