Vacancy for Specialist HLTA/Sports Coach at Warren School Lowestoft
Days:
Monday - Friday (part-time requests may be considered)
Time: 8.30am - 3.15pm 1⁄2 hour unpaid lunch
Venue:
Warren School, Lowestoft - Full mobility across the Trust
Salary:
Starting point 16 £13.85 per hour (dependent on experience)
Details:
We are looking to appoint a Specialist HLTA/Sports Coach who is dynamic and friendly, with a passion for improving outcomes and life experiences for our pupils in the school with SLD and PMLD needs.
The school is in a period of transition with a new leadership team in place and we are looking for a sports coach who can help us develop and deliver the sports curriculum enabling our pupils to achieve their potential.
The range of needs that are covered is very diverse and you must be able to adapt to the different needs of each child.

- The Consortium Trust demonstrates and implements safeguarding protocols in all aspects of their working practices and is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All successful applicants will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check and this may include social media checks. _
- Swim England Level 2 qualification or suitable alternative
- Experience in delivering sports/activity sessions or teaching groups of children between the ages of 4 and 18 years old in a school environment
- Have experience working with SEND students.
- Use a range of strategies to support a diverse range of complex needs,
- Have strong interpersonal skills and innovative techniques are essential
- Use creative and diverse approaches to support the needs of all pupils and to develop a love of learning.
- Support tasks relating to 'real life' experiences
- Willing to share good practice
- Looking for a challenge and a desire to participate in school and Trust CPD opportunities
- Passionate about supporting learning characteristics in pupils
- Able to adhere to policies and procedures and follow GDPR guidelines
- Able to maintain confidentiality
- Have an awareness of Safeguarding
Qualifications:
SEND Experience
Grade C /4+ Maths and English;
Good level of computer literacy
