Oxford Nanopore's sequencing platform is the only technology that offers real-time analysis, in fully scalable formats from pocket to population scale, that can analyse native DNA or RNA and sequence any length of fragment to achieve short to ultra-longread lengths.
We have an exciting opportunity to join the Digital team, working with Internal collaborators to elicit requirements for the Digital development team and integrated Applications.
Being the interface into the in house development team and ensuring that theserequirements align with wider product and business Objectives.
The Details...The Systems Analyst will work with internal collaborators to understand requirements for improvements to Digital systems and processes.
You will be able to analyse requests and in association with the Development team come up with solutions that can be presentedback to the collaborators.
You will also help with configuration of the systems, documenting data flows, reporting on progress of delivery as well as supporting testing and deployment of new features.
Other responsibilities include:
- Analyse Business Requirements and produce user stories and process/Data flows
- Prioritise, Design, implement and ensure delivery of changes, supporting users with setting up UAT documentation
- Communicate system, updates, issues, and resolutions to business collaborators
- Be the Interface between stakeholders and the development team,
- Challenge and provide suggestions to stakeholders on their requests, requirements and ideas
- Understand stakeholder business processes and provide guidance and direction on improvements for efficiency and automation
- Understand how Digital products integrate with other systems and the impact between them.
- Acceptance testing of features that are coming out of development
- Performance monitoring, usage and analysis on Digital Systems
- Work with support team to troubleshoot issues in Digital Systems
We'll expect you to have a degree, preferably in an IT related discipline, or relevant experience in a similar role.
Excellent communication skills are essential due to the collaborative responsibilities involved in this role and the ability to build and maintain productive working relationships.
