J66780**Venn Group is working with a school based in Surrey who are currently looking for a Premises Officer to support the Estates team with daily operations of the school.

Below is a brief synopsis on the role;

**Location: Surrey

Hourly rate:
£17.43 PAYE or 20.53 Umbrella per hour

Duration: 3 months initially

Hours
:
08: Monday -Thursday / 08:4- 16:15 Friday**
Day to day duties:
  • Opening and closing of the school
  • Ensuring maintenance, repairs and inspections of equipment are conducted in accordance with College health and safety regulations
  • Ensuring that playgrounds, paths and driveways are in a satisfactory condition
  • Completing PAT testing of all electrical equipment and labelling accordingly
  • Carrying out minor repairs such as removing of graffiti
  • Lifting and carrying of objects, including moving furniture when necessary

Essential Skills for the role:


  • Experience carrying out general maintenance and repair work
  • Hold an Enhanced DBS within the last 3 months or on the update service
  • Experience within an education setting is desirable
