Academic Appointments are currently working alongside a Special School in Thackley to recruit a pool of Learning Support Assistants who can be available to work as a pool of supply working on long and short term assignments.

The school provides a specialist educational provision across a wide spectrum of learning difficulties and complex disabilities.

Student's attitudes to learning are exemplary, and behaviour is outstanding.


The headteacher and senior leaders all share an ambition for excellence and are already seeing vast improvements to achieve this.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will be required to support both primary and secondary aged pupils.

This is a supply position and therefore would suit someone looking for flexibility.


Experience

  • Previous experience of working in a SEND setting

Requirements:


  • An enhanced DBS
  • Two references from an educational setting
