About the role


This 3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer role will be working closely with the IT Director, to provide 3rd line support to the wider business.


Responsibilities:


  • To provide 3rd line support through both assigned work, and escalation from the service desk and management
  • Investigate and resolve service desk incidents assigned with speedy fixes ensuring ticketing system is fully updated
  • To provide infrastructure systems support including monitoring and maintenance
  • To provide support for projects and systems upgrades
  • To provide planned maintenance work both onsite and remotely
  • Will have demonstrable experience in a similar IT Engineer role
  • Core technical skills will include:
  • VMware
  • Mellanox
  • IBM SAN
  • Fortigate FW
  • Citrix
  • Veeam
  • Azure
  • Intune
  • You will have proven experience providing technical IT advice
  • Understand functional business processes
  • Confident and able to communicate with team members across a range of levels and seniority
