Essential Duties:


  • Perform routine vehicle repairs and maintenance
  • Perform complex repairs as directed
  • Follow all company policies and procedures
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and secure work area
  • Complete assigned work tasks in a timely manner
  • Follow all safety procedures and protocols
  • Work overtime as needed, including but not limited to: emergency calls, weather, equipment breakdowns, etc.
  • Communicate with customers in a professional manner at all times
  • Maintain excellent customer service at all times
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks and complete them on time while adhering to company policies
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
  • High school diploma or equivalent required. College degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in the automotive industry preferred. A minimum of 2 years experience as a mechanic preferred. A minimum of 2 years experience working with basic tools such as wrenches preferred. A minimum of 2 years experience working on vehicles preferred. Preferred education in automotive repair or repair shop (preferred). Preferred background in automotive repair or repair shop (preferred). Preferred experience working on commercial vehicles (preferred). Preferred knowledge of basic automotive parts (preferred). Preferred knowledge of basic electrical systems (preferred). Preferred knowledge of general vehicle maintenance (preferred). Preferred knowledge of computerbased equipment (preferred). Preferred knowledge of diesel engine repair (preferred). Preferred knowledge of diesel engine maintenance (preferred). Preferred knowledge of diesel engine troubleshooting (preferred). Preferred knowledge of diesel engine troubleshooting software (preferred). Preferred knowledge of diesel engine troubleshooting computer hardware (preferred). Preferred knowledge of diesel fuel blending (preferred). Preferred knowledge of diesel fuel tanking (preferred). Preferred knowledge of diesel fuel tanking equipment (preerred). Preferred knowledge of diesel fuel tanks (preferred). Preference for previous experience working for a large diesel truck manufacturer or dealership preferred.
