Client Partner - Life Sciences


We are seeking a dynamic and strategic global industry leader to drive Slalom London's growth in Life Sciences - one of the fastest developing industries at Slalom.

From research and development to marketing and distribution, we help Life Sciences industry leaders with some of their most strategic business challenges.


What You'll Do:


A Client Partner's primary responsibilities are focused around representing Slalom's services across a portfolio of accounts, helping to set strategic direction, delivering solutions, leading/coaching teams, driving sales, and participating in account management.

The Client Partner is the 'bridge' between a local market (e.g. London) and the global account, focusing on both global account & local market growth.

  • Set the vision for and lead the direction of our Life Sciences industry in London; establish industry targets and develop overall Life Sciences strategy with a global focus
  • Partner with Slalom leaders to develop growth plans and drive accountability to achieve targets
  • Advise clients on business and technology transformations, working with senior business and functional leaders to understand key business drivers, define strategic needs and develop future business capabilities leveraging industry best practices
  • Mature our Life Sciences industry community, develop our experts and industry offerings, and share our stories locally and globally
  • Drive connections and strategy with our internal global partners, based in other offices, to best serve our global Life Sciences clients together
  • Serve as a leader within our Global Industry Community and steward of Slalom's core values, demonstrating a daily growth mindset and passion for people
  • Generate and contribute to business development and solutioning conversations through multiple Slalom markets, clients, alliance partnerships, and marketing efforts

What you'll bring:


  • You have experience working with Life Sciences clients in a consulting capacity
  • Ability to qualify leads and build strategies on developing deals
  • Experience building and nurturing trustbased relationships with clients and peers
  • Consultant mindset: programme management, change management, business analysis, etc.
  • Passion for the life sciences industry; curiosity and humility
  • Collaboration mindset working across practices, account teams and markets to achieve the best outcome for clients
  • Create an entrepreneurial environment. This includes driving significant growth with our clients, transformational outcomes, and creating new approaches to reach those outcomes.
  • You will keep an eye on major trends and technology disruptions within Life Sciences and be able to identify and advise clients on opportunities created by those disruptions.
  • Active participant and attendee at industry conferences and with experience sharing learnings with other Industry Practitioners and clients
