SCOPE OF ROLE:

To provide a high level of customer service.


As a Company representative, act and behave in a professional manner in every customer contact situation and sell the Company's products and services to their full potential.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Accurately raise Rental Agreements in accordance with Company requirements and GDPR and ensure they are kept up to date.
  • Qualify customers through company rental requirement guidelines.
  • Complete all checks thoroughly before accepting a customer or booking.
  • Ensure all payments against a booking/customer are taken and allocated in a timely manner.
  • Confirm rental parameters with customers to guarantee understanding of our rates and charges and their responsibilities towards the vehicle and any fine related charges.
  • Daily reporting on vehicles on and off hire.
  • Prepare rental and return documents precisely.
  • Ensure accuracy of the details on rental agreement.
  • Resolve customer service issues effectively.
  • Maintain rental counter appearance and areas to present orderly and professional image.
  • Administration and processing of in fleet and Defleet of Vehicles to BVRLA standards.
  • Liaise with repairers to organise vehicle repairs as agreed by fleet department
  • Review paperwork to ensure completed and consistent and confirm any new damage.
  • Validate vehicles as being ready for rent after prerent preparation
  • Organisation of the drivers, arranging runs, ensuring D & C is on time, fuel and time efficient.
  • Update the company computer system, accurately and promptly according to company training memos.
  • Liaise with all external departments when requesting and/or supplying information and documentation for purpose of company business
  • Close management of National Accounts

KNOWLEDGE & ATTRIBUTES

  • Previous rental experience
  • Strong levels of Customer Service
  • Good level of communication written and verbal
  • Capable to work on own initiative
  • Prioritise and manage workload
  • A positive and proactive attitude
  • High standards and attention to detail.
  • The flexibility to work additional hours at busy times, good team player, forward thinking

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
Up to £27,000.00 per year
