Description
A live
- in Housekeeper & Handyperson are required to work for a lovely family in Lower Swell, Gloucestershire (GL54) with three children aged 14 years, 12 years & 11 years.

Please note this is a position for
two people.


Start Date:

ASAP

Salary:
£55,000 gross per annum.


Hours:5 days:
Friday - Tuesday: approx. (need to be flexible) 8.00am-7.00pm (Role am-6.00pm (Role 2) - break in the day - 45 hours p.w.


Accommodation:3 bedroom house, can be fully furnished with garden, 5 minutes from the house - £1500 p.a. towards utilities. No pets or dependants.


Duties:


Role 1:


  • Housekeeping.
  • Washing & ironing.
  • Make & change beds.
  • Food preparation, family cooking & for dinner parties.
  • Help with entertaining.
  • Shopping.
  • Pick up/drop off children from school.
  • Look after children when parents away.
  • Feeding & walking the dog.

Role 2:


  • Formal gardening & vegetable gardening inc. mowing, weeding, pruning & planting.
  • Rake the drive.
  • Help with horses (mucking out, feeding & move from field to stable) on 1 day/week.
  • DIY
  • Driving the family.
  • Keep bikes up to date.
  • Clean the cars.
  • Help with chickens.
Feeding & walking the dog.


You must:


  • Hold a current DBS or be willing to undertake one.
  • Happy to work in a rural location & love the countryside.
  • Both be drivers (car can be provided).
  • Able to cook & follow recipes.
  • Able to cook for dinner parties.
  • Like animals, knowledge of horses a bonus.
  • Happy to work weekends.
  • Gardening experience & willing to be shown.
  • Knowledge of mechanics preferred.
  • Have a flexible attitude.
  • Have very high standards.
  • Be proactive & take initiative.
  • Be discreet.
