Description

1st for care provide support workers, carers and childcare workers to a variety of clients in Dorset and the surrounding areas.

We are currently recruiting across all areas for agency staff and permanent staff.

As a nursery assistant with 1st for care you would work through us for various nurseries within the local area, the key responsibilities for this role are as follows:

• To support children with activities to the age range in conjunction with other staff
• To record achievements and report accordingly
• Support colleagues and engage in activities
• Work with parents and carers of children with learning difficulties to help provide full integration
• Record and report to parents/carers/colleagues and family members

Specific child care tasks:

• Prepare and complete activities to suit child development
• Assist with play time and learning
• Ensure that meal times are a time of social sharing
• Washing and changing children as required
• Providing comfort and warmth to children
• Actively promoting and supporting the safeguarding of children and young people within the setting
• Respect and maintain confidentiality

£10.65-£10.93 per hour


Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• Nursery: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (preferred)
