    Description

    Job Title: Maintenance Manager / Engineering Manager / Senior Maintenance Engineer

    Salary: £60,000 to £65,000 per annum, plus annual bonus (up to 15%), private health care and benefits.

    About the Role

    We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager / Engineering Manager / Senior Maintenance Engineer to lead our maintenance department at one of our large, established factories. As a key member of our team, you will oversee the day-to-day activities of the department, ensuring efficient operation and optimal equipment reliability.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage maintenance activities, including planned and unplanned work, continuous improvement initiatives, and equipment reliability projects.
    • Oversee the use of our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and ensure its effective integration into the site and team.
    • Take an active role in hands-on maintenance work when required, driving and implementing continuous improvements within the maintenance team.
    • Map out and coordinate projects and planned shut-downs throughout the year, ensuring minimal equipment downtime.
    • Collate, analyze, and report engineering, OEE, cost, and process data to support key targets and objectives.
    • Contribute to the ongoing strategic plan of the factory, working closely with production teams to deliver productivity goals.

    Requirements

    • Qualified in Engineering, holding qualifications in either electrical or mechanical disciplines, ideally gained through a completed Apprenticeship.
    • Experience in a similar environment, such as Production, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Facilities.
    • Proven track record as a department manager, leading a team of engineers.
    • Exceptional problem-solving skills, with experience in tackling complex issues and making necessary changes and improvements.
    • Excellent people engagement and management skills, including coaching, mentoring, supporting, praising, and recognition approaches.

    Estimated Salary: £62,500 - £67,500 per annum.
