College Station, TX JOB TYPE- Permanent- EMP TYPE- Full-Time- INDUSTRY- Commercial- SKILLS- Any- EXPERTISE- Commercial- SALARY TYPE- Annually- SALARY- Negotiable- JOB ID Title: Vice President of Sales- Therapeutic Area: Cell and Gene Therapy CDMO- Location: Remote, US- Skills Alliance is currently supporting a US start-up CDMO involved in developing cell and gene therapies, building out their commercial division across the US.

Our client is looking to hire a motivated and highly experienced sales leader with a strong network and knowledge of selling CDMO services to the biopharmaceutical space.

- The role, but not limited to:

Creating and implementing territory sales initiatives to meet and exceed sales and revenue objectives.
Working crossfunctionally with marketing, operations and project management divisions for lead generation and qualification and to establish new business proposals.
Managing a team of between 68 FTE's in driving sales revenue.
Developing and implementing onboarding platforms for new sales hires and training for the sales team.
Creating a strategic and corporate sales operation for business generation and contract negotiation.
Requirements for the role:
Educated to BSC level in a scientific area. (MBA is preferred)
7 years' experience in sales related roles in the life science industry.
Minimum 3 years in leadership and people management.
Strong understanding of the difference between a large established company and a dynamic startup environment.
Established network in the CDMO services space across the US.
Located near a hub and willing to travel up to 50%
