Software Systems Project Co-ordinator


Salary:
£30,000 - £35,000


Location:
Southampton


Responsibilities:


Liaison with the Software development team

  • Organise new feature requests to be assessed with the relevant stakeholders, recorded in the Task Log and prioritised correctly.
  • Monitor the progress of tasks with the software team.
  • Keep the project status documented.
  • Report on progress to deadlines.

Define business requirements

  • Accurately define and agree requirements with all stakeholders
  • Process analysis to deliver improvements
  • Identify changes to reduce risk of error, improve the client experience and improve efficiency.

Project manage implementation

  • Plan and monitor the implementation of new software functionality with stakeholders.
  • Create User Guides and assist with user training.
  • Carry out testing with Users and report back to the software development team on results.
  • Assist in the training and maintenance of systems ensuring all users are utilising the systems correctly.

Data management

  • Assist stakeholders in data management and reporting

Essential skills, knowledge and abilities

  • The jobholder will have a track record of 3+ years proven experience in the above key accountabilities, specifically within an operational fast paced environment.
  • High level user of in Excel, Power BI, Visio, Sharepoint, MS Project.
  • 3 years+ relevant business experience
  • Excellent IT skills, ability to utilise the tools available and learn new systems quickly.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, able to listen and understand peoples requirements.
  • Attention to detail
  • Project management knowledge and formal qualification in Prince 2/Agile/PMP or similar.
  • Experience with CRM/Operational/Accounting systems/ERP

Desirable skills, knowledge and abilities

  • Accounting/VAT services appreciation.
