Description

Metalis are working with a well established company who specialise in supplying cutting technologies globally.

They are looking for a permanent Field Service Technician to join their service team to work with their established customer base on
preventative maintenance,
breakdowns and
repairs.

The Role

Attend customer
breakdowns with the aim of producing a solution for
repair in a timely manner
Dealing with customers to a high level of customer service
Carrying out after sales and consultancy discussions
Clarification of difficult technical questions and working out individual ideas for solutions with the support of head office
Travel and overnight stays within UK and Germany will be essential to this role and required on a weekly basis
Home Office based reporting to Head office 5 days per week on the road travelling to various customer sites
Electrical Engineering background essential,
18th Edition:
Mechanical Engineering background preferred, however not essential as training will be given
Previous knowledge of working with
CNC machines
Computer literate with good knowledge of Excel and Outlook
Full UK
Driving License:
Well driven individual who is able to work unaided with the passion to build customer relationships
A high level of selfmotivation
IT literacy
Excellent communication skills
Knowledge / experience of Metal Fabrication industries is desired
