New HR Advisor job, based in County Antrim (NI) with an award winning, leading, specialist manufacturing organisation. This is a
12 month fixed term contract to cover a maternity absence. Competitive salary and benefits.


Due to continued growth and reputation for excellence, our market leading specialist manufacturing Client in the County Antrim area, are keen to recruit an experienced
HR Advisor/Officer.

This is a hands on HR role, for a
12 month fixed term contract. The proposed start date would be around April 2024.


Reporting to the HR Manager, and working as part of a well established, supportive team, the successful HR professional will enjoy the varied, generalist day to day activities of this role.


The HR Advisor will support everything from recruitment, inductions, employee relations and welfare issues, to training, policy and process review.


The Role:


  • Recruitment management from sourcing to job offer and induction.
  • Support the HR Manager and management team with employee relations matters disciplinary investigations, grievances and welfare issues.
  • Assist in devising and delivering a training and development strategy throughout the company.
  • Manage the leaver process and conduct exit interviews.
  • Coordination of employee appraisals to track performance and identify training opportunities
  • Action employee transfers, promotions and other changes.
  • Advise employees and managers on terms & conditions and HR issues.
  • Contribute to the development and revision of new policies and procedures
  • Maintain adequate HR records & contribute to monthly reports as required

The Person:


  • CIPD qualified
  • Proven track record in a generalist HR role preferably within manufacturing/construction/production led environment
  • Experience in managing recruitment, employee relations and organising training and development activities
  • Sound knowledge of currently NI employment legislation and HR best practice
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Excellent communication and team working skills
  • Advanced MS Office skills
