An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated, efficient and enthusiastic Medical HR Advisor to join our friendly and supportive team based at Trust HQ, 350 Euston Road on a fixed term basis 12 months with the possibility of a permanent position hours per week


To provide operational support to the Director of Human Resources, Assistant Director of Human Resources, Human Resources Manager - Medical Staffing in the provision of a comprehensive professional medical staffing service to the Trust.

This includes all aspects of the recruitment and selection process; provision of information in support of Trust and NHS requirements and M&D terms and conditions.


For this role we are looking for HR professionals, who ideally have knowledge of medical terms and conditions that can provide expert support on medical workforce interventions and projects, researching and suggesting new initiatives and developing resources.

You will be a key link for divisional management teams in all matters relating to junior and senior medical staff, communicating at all levels with our key leaders.

This role will require a broad selection of skills and experience to be a success:
Experience of recruitment processes and pre-employment checks with an interest in expanding your knowledge, this could be either from the NHS or private sector

Experience working with medical staff is desirable but not essential


Able to use your own initiative but also have the insight required to recognise when to liaise with colleagues for help and support.

Able to work calmly under pressure, managing conflicting priorities


Strong attention to detail to ensure the accuracy of information you are entering onto important documents (such as employment contracts) and databases.

Highly professional, able to build rapport and communicate with very senior colleagues, including complex information.

Confident using Microsoft packages and able to learn how to use bespoke systems.

Organised and methodical in planning your time to meet deadlines and KPIs.
