BowlsWales is a company limited by guarantee with a skills-based Board of Directors.

We are looking to appoint a Director to the BowlsWales Board who can add value to the board and meet the generic aspects of the role description.

To fully deliver against our ambitions, it is essential that the Board has the right blend of skills, diversity and experience as described in the Governance and Leadership Framework for Wales.

BowlsWales are seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals tojoin our Board to support the delivery of our aims and objectives.
The Role
If you would like to contribute your time, skills and experience we are looking for individuals who can demonstrate an ability to support us in one or more of the following areas:

Commercial
Marketing
Communications;
Or any other relevant experiences and skills to contribute to the BowlsWales Board.

This role is voluntary with all reasonable travel expenses paid. Previous experience of being on a Board is not a prerequisite. The role will require approximately 1 day a month.

There are usually 6 bi-monthly board meetings per year, an Annual General Meetingand Directors may be asked to represent the organisation at other relevant meetings and events.

The majority of meetings are held in the evenings.
