Salary Banding £40,000-£50,000 depending on experience

MJ Quinn are a contractor for the provision of Mechanical, Electrical and Telecommunications services.

We currently have an exciting new opportunity for a Building Services Electrical Engineer to work within our Mechanical, Electrical & Building Maintenance Division on a permanent basis based from our Liverpool Offices.

Responsibilities

Assistance with project development scoping and costing
Development of detailed design for projects
Design and construction stakeholder engagement
Working to deadlines whilst producing the highest quality of work
Coordinate accurately with all other disciplines including face to face meetings.
Control flow of design information for specific projects into and out of the company
Assist the site supervisors in all technical matter at site level
Site surveys and produce reports
To undertake additional ad hoc duties under the direction of line manager in line with the needs of the business.
Produce all work in line with MJ Quinn Integrated Services Ltd.'s quality standards and use best practice methods.
To comply with all General Policies and Procedures.

Key skills

Strong Organisation skills
Fault finding experience on air conditioning units
Good IT skills
Strong Mechanical knowledge base
AutoCAD packages
Trimble (Amtech Pro Design suite cable sizing software
Modecsoft Electrical OM Design Suite

Qualifications/ Experience

Building Services drafting experience
Extensive experience (at least 10 years) in a relevant design and site technical support role including successful delivery of electrical installation designs of major projects.
Degree in electrical engineering or comparable demonstrable experience working at this level
Chartership through professional institution of desirable
Experience of Electrical Building Services design best practices
