The Role


As a Demand Planner at Safran Electrical & Power you will be an instrumental member of a team planning the global aftermarket spares and repairs demand for world leading products within the aerospace industry.

You will be play an important role in planning actions of the sales and operational planning process to support the aftermarket growth strategy.

You will ensure that material is available to meet customer needs and requirements at all times.

  • Full responsibility for the planning of repairs and spares global demand
  • Responsible for daily provisioning of piece parts for repairs and spares through SAP
  • Ensure 100% material availability to meet the repairs and spares customer delivery performance metrics
  • Analyse historical customer demand, determining best product demand forecasts
  • Coordinate and liaise with business development and sales teams to understand the market requirements
  • Manage inventory for the designated product groups in line with internal budgets
  • Communicate with all internal functions to ensure full visibility of demand to the entire supply chain

Desirable Experience

  • Previous success in demand planning, ideally in an aftermarket environment
  • SAP experience desirable
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work crossfunctionally
  • Customerorientated mindset
  • Strong commercial awareness
  • Evidence of written English at interview stage.
