Position:
RFID Design Engineer


Salary:
Up to £90,000 + Benefits


Location of Office:
Tower Bridge, London


Location of Work:
Hybrid Remote working - 2 days at home a week


The Role:

Our client, a VC backed start-up who design and develop tech for good products for the food sustainability industry are now seeking an RFID Design Engineer to join their growing engineering team.

The ideal Design Engineer willbe experienced with all things RFID and have proven experience developing successful electronic devices using RFID technology.


  • Design and prototype innovative passive UHF (RAIN) RFID inlays
  • Work with RFID hardware systems to ensure products meet industry specifications
  • Build quickturn around prototypes
  • Simulate and optimise performance
  • Conduct measurement and performance testin

In return is the chance to take a technical lead on all design matters related to RFID whilst designing innovative, cutting edge products that will help improve the way future generations tackle food and energy waste.


Skills and experience required:


  • RFID design
  • R&D environment experience
  • Antenna design
  • Engineering or research Science based degree

Desirable skills and experience:


  • Electronics design circuit design etc


  • Software programming

  • C, C++, Python or Java
  • SPICE simulation
  • IoT or sensor driven devices
