The Estates Projects Officer (EPO) will be responsible for all Business as Usual (BAU) projects across SRUC.

The post holder will be solely responsible for managing contractor staff using the Measured Term Contract (MTC) where appropriate and Liaising with the Compliance Officers (CO) and Works Officers (WO) where necessary.


This is a project delivery and planning role, and the post holder must ensure that SRUC meets all Statutory and Legislative requirements working with our Measured Term Consultancy (MTCo).


The post holder will use their experience and knowledge to prioritise in the most cost-effective way by coordinating the contract using traditional tendering methods or through the Measured Term Contract (MTC).


The post holder will be responsible for ensuring all areas of compliance are met, planned, completed within the agreed timescales and to budget.


The post holder has overall responsibility to manage the projects under their control and within their area of responsibility, this includes working closely with colleagues and customers in SRUC to arrange suitable time for work to be completed, monitoring the work through to completion and reviewing the quality and effectiveness of any work out before signing off.


The post holder will co-ordinate the delivery of all site-based projects activities with the (CO), (WO) and any contractor working on behalf of SRUC.

The post holder has responsibility to ensure all physical assets are returned to operational use and meet legislative compliance.
