A London based venture capital fund investing in early-stage technology companies at seed, across Europe and the US are looking for a Finance Director to join the team.

As the Finance Director, you will report into the COO and lead the finance team to provideexceptional, real time, day to day finance support and analysis for the firm.

You will be responsible for building a strategic finance function that provides meaningful, well-presented data to our investment team, limited partners and platform as the businessgrows.


Requirements:

- c10 years professional work experience, ideally 2+ in the VC industry

  • VC and/or PE fund administration and fund management accounting experience
  • Minimum 2 years experience at Financial Controller level
  • A recognised accountancy qualification, ACCA/CIMA (or qualified by experience)
  • A strong interest in the startup ecosystem, startup work experience a plus
  • A people person who enjoys interacting with others and leading with a hands on
approach

  • A willingness to get involved in the detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Bonus: skilled at using Xero, Pleo, Totem
