Purpose:


As one of the largest football clubs in the world, we continue to innovate in terms of how we engage and connect with our global fanbase.

We are currently looking for a Video & Motion Graphics Designer to help us develop new and exciting campaigns for the club and our partners.

Full of ideas, you will be able to collaborate with others to bring stories and concepts to life. Offering expertise on creative and technical aspects of projects.


The Role:


  • To work with the Creative Leads, Art Directors, Conceptual, Design & Video teams to create compelling video & motion solutions.
  • Creating Innovative, World-Class, Powerful & Inspirational work that engages and excites external and internal stakeholders.
  • Passion and energy, willing to challenge and push new creative thinking in a fastmoving environment.
  • Take video concepts from ideation to delivery. Combining motion graphics, animation, design & video into content that engages, excites and educates different audiences.
  • Strong team player, looking to work and develop alongside internal teams looking to continually inspire and learn from others.
  • Create & adapt from existing editing work including animations, motion graphics and edited content.
  • Understand and uphold brand style guidelines, producing work of a suitable style.
  • Good time management and organisational skills.
  • Demonstrates Integrity, Creativity, Positivity, Efficiency, Thoroughness, Tenacity & Proactivity.
  • Adaptable and flexible ability to multitask when required whilst helping other team members with their work.
  • A passion for sports and athletes with a focus on visual storytelling
  • Knowledge and sensitivity to trends that influence wider design, sport and athletes.

The Person:


  • Experience across a variety of skills in motion design and video content.
  • A passion for everything motion audio, film, editing, 3D, 2D.
  • A team player. Willing to collaborate as well as receive feedback from colleagues to ensure excellent delivery.
  • A passion for sports, fashion, popular culture, brands, current video & animation trends.
  • Full knowledge of and experience in brand, campaign, social and digital development.
  • A great understanding of design principles, working confidently with storyboards, typography, photography and illustration.
  • An expert across Adobe CC software (primarily After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Advanced knowledge of editing techniques using Premiere Pro.
  • Proven portfolio of developing ideas from storyboarding to execution and delivery.
  • Knowledge of C4D (animation, rendering, lighting and modelling) + RedShift/Octane a bonus.
  • Experience in Colour grading (Da Vinci Resolve), audio production, AR, VR and experiential design a bonus.
  • Understanding of marketing channels with a focus on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Ability to craft scripts, work with VO artists and identify different tones of voice.
  • Proficiency in presentations leveraging keynote.
  • Experience working directly with talent and creators to collaborate on campaigns a bonus.
  • Keeps abreast of advancements in animation, new technologies and techniques, contemporary trends and popular music to deliver cutting edge work.
  • Ability to deliver on multiple projects and delegate work efficiently.
  • A strong technical understanding of effective video workflows and file specification/ratios across multiple platforms.
