Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting a
wonderful and engaging Year 6 Teacherfor one of one of our lovely schools in South Manchester.

are looking to recruit a USK2 Teacher to begin as soon as possible. This role is ongoing with the potential to extend to the end of the academic year. The school will pay a salary of betweenM1 and M6.

The class you will be working in a lively year 6 class with 30 mixed ability children, with high numbers of EAL and an average number of children with SEND.

You will be working within a team of 3 teachers and have a full time TA within the class.

USK2 Teacher - Roles and Responsibilities

Have a secure knowledge of the USK2 curriculum and keep up to date with curriculum guidance for KS2 relating to the SATS
Uphold all of the schools policies and structure including Safeguarding and behaviour
Support the values and vision of the school
Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the schools policies and schemes of work
Provide a clear structure and sequence of lessons which maintain pace and interest
Make effective use of assessment on pupils attainment and progress and use this to inform future planning.
Ensure effective teaching of the whole class, groups and individuals by setting targets in line with children's current attainment.
Mark and monitor class work and homework, providing constructive feedback for students
Establish and maintain positive working relationships with other staff members within the school
Report feedback to parents in a suitable manner including Reports and Parents Evening.
Participate in the wider life of the school including training, events, trips and assemblies.
