As a Project Quality & Training Manager, the role holder will be supporting our client Utilities business unit.

The job holder will be responsible for preparing and implementing both a project quality assurance process along with preparing and deliveringtraining to the customer.

You will be part of the core project delivery team and be a key interface between Our Client and their customer.


Primary Responsibilities:

This role will initially be focussed on a GIS implementation project.

For this, the Project Quality & Training Manager will initially support and then transition to lead the following activities:


  • Preparation of a project quality assurance approach
  • Implement project quality assurance approach and report to programme directors
  • Prepare a training strategy for each phase of the programme
  • Prepare training material
  • Deliver training (Train the Trainer)
  • Ownership of project quality and trainingrelated documentation
  • The leadership of the project change and business adoption of the solution
  • Support with overall programme quality
  • Any other tasks as required by the programme
  • Understanding and support of Esri and FMErelated activities
  • It is expected that as a Project Quality & Training Manager, this role will form part of the core programme leadership team


This is not an exclusive list of activities and is only intended to give guidance to what activities a Project Quality & Training Manager may be required to do.

Over time, this role is envisaged to grow significantly with more leadership and project managementactivities made available.


To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Senior level of experience in managing utilities data
  • Senior level of experience in documentation
  • Excellent communicator
  • Team player
  • Most importantly, a positive cando attitude and a willingness to learn
  • Eagerness to support company and team initiatives such as Inclusion & Diversity ambassador

Training & Career Development:


  • Our client will provide initial training
  • Time will be provided to upskill continuously
  • Attendance to 1 international conference/year based on relevance and project requirements
  • Pro-Active encouragement to attend and participate in conferences based on relevance and project requirements

Work Model:


  • Hybrid: The role holder will work mostly from home however travel to customer sites and team meetings will be required. The frequency of these will be based on project requirements and capped at three times per month.
