Activus Recruitment are seeking a Factory Administrator for our Oldmeldrum based client. This is a fixed-term role commencing the beginning of December until early 2024 as maternity cover.


The successful applicant will be responsible for the safe and efficient production planning and programming, monitoring ISO 9001 compliance, stock movement/control and ordering, upkeep of all factory and office order records and HSEQ information.

Good organisational and communication skills are essential as you will be required to liaise between the Factory and Office.

Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous.

  • Responsibilities: _
  • Compliance with all site H&S rules, including the donning of appropriate PPE as required.
  • Attend training courses, safely committee meetings, toolbox talks and any other such training as per company policy and procedures.
  • Production planning / yard organisation including issuing approved order details for manufacture, booking out deliveries, preparing despatch notes.
  • Stock movement control, recording usage against jobs (live updating) to assist with early and accurate reporting for month end figures, reordering blocks, slab, and memorials to ensure required materials are available as needed.
  • Recording production times for orders/contracts and checking against estimates to build up a 'library' of times and costs including checking operatives time sheets and recording factory work in progress.
  • General administrative duties associated with IMM updating risk assessments, COSHH data, internal audit updates, toolbox talks, etc.
  • Ensuring order files are complete, up to date and closed off on completion (for ISO 9001 compliance)

  • To carry our any reasonable adhoc duties as requested
