Project Developer - Renewable Energy

Location:
London (flexible working)

Climate17 are working with a market leading renewable energy developer, seeking to develop clean energy and storage projects in the UK.

Based in central London, they are rapidly growing across all areas of the business, and are seeking a Project Developer to join their development team and play a key role in expanding their portfolio of solar and battery storage projects.

Responsibilities

This will include:

Investigation of possible grid opportunities.
Perform land feasibility reviews.
Proactively sourcing suitable sites for solar and storage project development.
Secure grid authorisation and obtain grid connection offers.
Identify freehold land acquisition opportunities.
Negotiating Heads of Terms.
Ongoing landowner liaison and relationship management with key local stakeholders and communities.

Requirements:

Selfmotivated and enthusiastic with the ability to take ownership of the site identification process.
An outgoing and success driven individual (educated to degree level), alongside sales experience in the land / renewables sector.
A competent, business development mindset alongside strong negotiation skills.
Clean UK driving license, with the flexibility to travel to sites and events.
