I am seeking a Care Manager to support the Registered Manager in a 70 bedded care home residential care home in Alvaston, Derbyshire
The Home is currently rated "Good" with the CQC and part of a small family ran group built on excellent values

Key Responsibilities of a Care Manager:

  • To supervise, train and mentor the care team to deliver high-quality care to our residents
  • Ensure that all the team are understanding and patient towards residents and encourage and support them
  • Ensure all residents have a care coordinator that keeps care plans up to date
  • Ensure full compliance of regulatory and our standards in all care matters.
  • Liaise with other care professionals to ensure the care needs of our residents are always met.
  • Ensure medication administration, recording and ordering is in line with regulation and our standards.

Deputy Nursing Home Manager Requirements:


  • Manager or Deputy in care homes for at least 3 years is essential.
  • NVQ Level 4 in Health and Social Care
  • Understand of: statutory and legal requirements, Health & Social Care Act, health and safety issues, Infection Control and assessment and care planning processes are essential
  • Organisation and practical skills, record keeping, behave ethically, a strong role model
