The Client


Working at our Hartlepool facility for two/three days per week liaising with our Head Office Health & Safety Advisor based in Simonside, South Shields.


The Role and its Responsibilities

  • To maintain and improve safe systems that work across both sites, monitoring compliance with all legal bodies and regulatory requirements relating to health, safety and the environment
  • Assist in developing both internal policies and strategies
  • Investigate/record incidents/complaints
  • Carrying out risk assessments, COSHH assessments, fire risk assessments, site inspections, LOLER planning and working with the management team to uphold a positive health and safety environment
  • Conduct health and safety inductions for new employees
  • Conduct safety briefings and toolbox talks along with the Production Manager
  • Conduct yourself in a professional matter at all times ensuring compliance with relevant policies, procedures and protocols
  • Submit any relevant reports or other such associated documents in accordance with protocols and attend regular meetings to maintain communication with senior management

The Individual
You will have the ability to work well with the management team. You should be able to maintain good relationships at all times with clients and colleagues.


Skills and Qualifications

  • NEBOSH General minimum and relevant experience gained working within industrial environments

Salary
TBC - Dependent on experience.

  • 8 hour shift
