Description

We are a growing engineering business servicing the Pharmaceutical and food processing industries who demand precision and very high-quality workmanship.

The company is based in Leamington Spa and have moved to a larger premises to enable us to expand and grow the business.

As a result of our expansion plans, we require an experienced fabricator welder to join our team.


We are looking for a very experienced and skilled TIG welder who can deal with bespoke and one off fabrications.

The main focus for this position is stainless steel TIG welding.

However in your role you may be required to take a job from start to finish independently with the following skills:


  • Read drawings
  • Create cutting lists from manufacturer drawings
  • Identify parts on parts list
  • Debur, drill, fold, roll, weld and grind and polish to a very high standard.
  • Be capable of TIG welding stainless steel and steel. Experience with aluminium would be advantageous.
  • A basic knowledge of MIG welding
  • Advantageous to be skilled in operating a press brake, sheet metal guillotine, sheet metal rolls, drill press etc.
  • Purge welding processes
Ideally you should have at least 10 years experience and be competent with stainless steel box section frameworks such as:

  • Tooling trolleys for the food and pharmaceutical industries
  • Stainless steel water tanks
  • Food/dairy processing pipework
Driving license preferred.

You will be based in Leamington Spa CV34 6LX

Your hours of work will be:
Monday-Thursday 07:00 - 16:00

Friday 07:00 - 12:00

39 hours per week. (Opportunity for overtime)

Holidays: 24 days plus bank holidays


Salary:
£31,000-£38,000 pa. dependant on skill level.
