Laundry worker

Department:
Cove Manor Nursing Home - Ardboe

Reports To:
Nursing Home Manager

Summary:

The Laundry Worker is to manage the laundry procedures and required flow of laundry to prevent a build up within the home.

To ensure that personal laundry is identified and returned to the correct individual and to distribute clothes to the residents room.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Follow all safety and infection control protocols.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Report any repairs or maintenance issues to the Nursing Home Manager.

Qualifications:
At least 6 months of experience working in a healthcare or hospitality setting preferred.

Strong cleaning and sanitation skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Ability to follow instructions carefully.

Compassionate and respectful attitude towards residents and staff.

Job Type:
Part-time

Salary:
£10.00-£10.42 per hour
