What you will need to bring to the role:

A positive and proactive attitude
Ability to keep calm under pressure
To be sensitive to peoples differing emotional needs within different situations
A sense of humour
A fully flexible approach, you will be expected to work on a rota system including evenings, weekends and bank holidays
The ability to work as part of a team and to learn from the people around you
The confidence to work independently
Good communication skills
Ability to follow a written support plan and to use your own initiative
