Responsibilities:


  • Provide support to challenging autistic pupils in a school setting
  • Implement behaviour management strategies and provide guidance and support to pupils
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other staff members to develop and implement individualized plans for pupils
  • Monitor and record pupil progress and report any concerns to relevant staff members
  • Create a safe and inclusive environment for all pupils

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with challenging autistic pupils in a school setting
  • Understanding of behaviour management strategies and techniques
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team
  • Patience, empathy, and compassion

Preferred qualifications:

  • A degree in psychology, education, or a related field
  • Experience working with pupils with additional needs or disabilities
  • Certification in behaviour management or positive behaviour support
