Are you a ground worker/ labourer looking for a new challenge in the Peterborough/Northampton area?

Hydrotech provides high quality services to the potable water industry throughout England and Wales.

Our aim is to continually drive up standards, particularly in the areas that matter most to our customers and be amongst the best in the water industry.

A number of exciting new opportunities have arisen to join us as Water Engineers, Labourers and Technicians.

The roles will develop into experienced teams through a programme of training and working closely with some of the best in the industry.

Working as part of a team you'll need to have experience of working on the highway carrying out water service installations & maintenance.

You'll play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered to technical and customer specification with a strong emphasis on meeting Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality standards and regulations.

Useful tickets include:
HSE Touchscreen, Dumper <10t, 360 Excavator <10t, Streetworks and CAT & Genny.

You'll be provided with your own Van, fuel card, PPE, tools and training if required.

RATES NEGOTIABLE.

Arrive at work on time. Jobs are booked with customers who are expecting our engineers to arrive at the agreed appointment time. Some work may be out of hours.
Wear the appropriate Hydrotech uniform. It is important to give a good first impression. All PPE will be supplied.
Maintain a friendly and polite personality. This will be essential as you could be working on private property and dealing with members of the public. You will be expected to communicate with our clients / customers and therefore it is crucial that you are comfortable doing so
You must be physically able, as manual work is a major part of the work we carry out.
Take instruction and work as part of a team. This is vital for the smooth operation of the company. Your work may require you to be paired with an experienced engineer who will train you in all aspects of the water engineering work we carry out.
Be proactive, take ownership and to motivate yourself. The motivation to learn is essential. We positively encourage our team members to expand their knowledge and skills and will support this with relevant training.
Ask questions. You must be willing to ask questions or request help if there is something you are unsure of.
Provide daily feedback. Full training will be given on this however a good level of literacy is required.
