Administrator - Malton, North Yorkshire

Pro-Pak Foods is a major supplier of delicious ready meals to many of the UK's leading supermarkets and convenience stores.

Our chefs work with our customers and have created a menu of more than 200 quality meals.

We are seeking an experienced
Accounts Payable Administrator to support the Accounts department in maintaining an effective and smooth-running operation.

You will be responsible for all outward payments and ensure they are made in a timely manner and within relevant payment terms.

Full on-site training will be given.

Key Accountabilities:

Processing invoices, reconciling delivery notes to invoices received and purchase orders
Price checking invoices against purchase orders
Setting up new supplier accounts and maintaining existing account details
Processing BACS payments
Selecting items for payment on due dates and producing BACS runs, obtaining appropriate authorisation
Ensuring delivery notes are completed and accurate, and looking for trends and discrepancies
Sorting and filing of Accounts Payable paperwork for archiving
Payroll cover to cover planned absence.

We're looking for someone who:

Can liaise with external suppliers and customers, bank, auditors and internal departments
Shows initiative and supports change implementation
Manages themselves and their time well to deliver consistently high standards
Has a practical approach to problem solving.
