Job Title:
Part-Time Credit Controller

Location:
Haywards Heath

Responsibilities:

Managing the company's credit control function.
Collecting outstanding debts from clients in a timely, professional manner.
Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with clients.
Negotiating repayment plans when necessary.
Maintaining accurate and uptodate customer data and payment records.
Ensuring all transactions are conducted in compliance with legal and company policies.
Regularly reporting on collection activity and accounts receivable status.

Requirements:

Proven experience in a credit control or related financial role.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
The ability to negotiate effectively and professionally.
A keen eye for detail and a high level of accuracy.
Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations.
Proficiency in MS Office and knowledge of relevant software (e.g. ERP systems).
Strong numeracy and organisational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
Must have the right to work in the UK.
