McCarthy Ltd are a Car Transporter Company located in Brandon Suffolk and are looking to recruit an Assistant Transport Administrator to join our busy, transport team.


We are looking for a dynamic and motivated individual who is self-motivated, eager to learn, adaptable, enthusiastic, methodical, well organised with a keen eye for detail.

This is a varied and interesting role, working closely with and assisting the Transport Manager and Operations Manager with duties including:

  • Collating and processing Driver expenses and expense log sheets
  • Fuel card administration management including damage, loss, and potential fraud.
  • Collating and processing day to day transport jobs
  • Invoicing Customers
  • The Weekly downloading of Drivers Digi Card and Trucks Tacho's
  • Undertaking driving licence and Digi Card and CPC checks
  • Dealing with vehicle paperwork and filing
  • Oversee the planning of and training records for the Drivers.
  • Assisting with Health and Safety
The understanding of Microsoft Office is essential.

Full training will be given on our working processes and systems so no previous experience is essential.

Working days and hours are Monday - Friday; , With an hour's lunch (Flexible)

Benefits include 20 days holiday plus eight bank holiday, Pension scheme and on-site free parking.

  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

  • Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
