Description

Purpose:

To ensure all goods received at Gulmay required for Production and other business activities are handled in a safe and efficient manner.

Also, to ensure all finished goods are handled and shipped in an equally safe and efficient manner.


Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities of the role:

• Support the internal systems to manage the inflow of materials and the inventory.
• Cover the Material Handling aspects of Goods Inwards (Receiving) and Export packing and shipping.
• Administer and carry out the Goods Inwards, Kitting and Outbound shipping procedures.
• Ensure accurate receipt of all inbound materials in line with ERP operating procedures.
• Ensure all internal stock and KanBan requirements are fulfilled and managed in conjunction with the Buyer and Logistics Supervisor.
• Carry out forklift operation duties as required and under safe operating guidelines.
• Support Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) projects and Kitting projects.
• Ensure in conjunction with the Logistics Supervisor that all packing materials are on hand for planned shipments.
• Carry out forklift operation duties as required and under safe operating guidelines.
• Pass all weights and dimensions of outbound shipments to the logistics team to book collections.
