Trust In SODA are working on a very exciting customer centric Product Design Director position.
This organisation are a well known, and well respected brand looking to go through an exciting vision transformation.

The Product Design Director is an experienced design leader who is an expert at developing and mentoring talent, leading across large product, service, ux and content teams.

We're looking for a customer centric individual, someone who is curious and can innovateand lead.
We're looking for people who know what good design is, and have worked for companies that show this. We'd also like people who have had to educate their organisations in the past.
You will help create a long term design vision to guide both the team and overall design strategy

Collaborates and partners extensively with Product, Technology, and other crossfunctional teams to ensure alignment and feasibility
Thought leader that acts with autonomy and discretion, combining deep product design and UX expertise with the mature decisionmaking of a senior leader
Coaches team while translating strategy into roadmaps for product design areas; confidently setting priorities within their own area.
Raises the bar on defining team and crossfunctional processes and mechanisms to lead at scale, bringing best practice from across the industry into the organisation.
Understands and applies customer data and feedback to drive design decisions and deliver quality, data driven solutions driven by customer empathy; develops design strategy and solutions based on customer needs and is a role model for customer empathy.
Lead the teams to design and deliver solutions that will impact millions of customers ever year.

You might have:

Strong endtoend Product Design experience across UX, UI and Research
Extensive experience of hiring, mentoring and coaching outstanding designers
Strong experience of mobile and web design in an ecommerce environment
Experience at companies where Design is highly valued and successfully continues to improve the customer journey experience.
Previous experience of implementing innovative design solutions.
