Royal London is looking for an ambitious Senior Company Secretarial Assistant to join our collaborative and agile Company Secretariat team based in our Alderley Edge office to provide support to our Pension Trustee Boards.
In this role you will support the Royal London Group to undertake its legal and regulatory obligations through the provision of quality governance support and the efficient delivery of Pension Trustee Board and Committee meeting support.

Provide Secretarial support to Pension Trustee Boards.
Provide assistance with the maintenance of documents and Trustee Policies owned by the Secretary.
Assist with organising responses to member queries and complaints under IDRP.
Assist with reviews of Scheme advisers and contracts, and liaise with Trustees' advisers as directed by Trustees.
Provide governance support in respect of Pension projects and cyclical activities.
Support the Group Company Secretarial Team with the delivery of Board and Committee cycle process, governance projects and cyclical activities.
About you
Newly qualified or studying towards a Pensions Management Institute or Company Secretarial qualification, or a graduate seeking to develop a career in governance.
Experience in the engagement with Trustees, Non-executive directors and Board/Committee chairs.
Excellent stakeholder management and organisational and IT skills.
Ability to prioritise and demonstrate initiative and work proactively with a high degree of professionalism.
