Working on a newly won Social Housing contract around Kirkdale, Liverpool - working 39 hours per week Monday to Friday


Working with us as a

With support for the supervision of Trade site colleagues, including subcontractors, the role will ensure all site personnel carry out their designated tasks efficiently and effectively to enable the contract to be completed on time, with zero defects, within budget and with no risk to the Health & Safety of their operational team, the Client, or the general public.


The successful
Site Supervisors will split the two work streams between them and have strong experience in working in a tenanted environment within the Social Housing sector, working on planned Works including but not limited to, Windows, Roofing, Scaffold, EWI, Gas and Renderingworks.

**An outline of your responsibility as a
Site Supervisor

  • Ensure the supervised site activities comply with H&S regulations, legislation and all staff follow Novus H&S policies and procedures through effective training, risk assessments and audits, record keeping, etc.
  • Monitor and identify H&S issues, resolve issues within the supervised team, and escalate if applicable
  • Ensure quality delivery of works though daily/weekly auditing and supervision
  • Provide regular and timely feedback on the progress of works against targets to relevant operational, helpdesk and commercial teams
  • Taking accountability and overseeing correct installations of various works and snagging
  • Monitor day to day customer relations
  • Traffic management
  • Provide information on site activities to support Contracts Manager in progress meetings with clients and customers
  • Assist Contracts/Site Manager in managing staff in line with policies and procedures, such as recruitment, training, capability, disciplinary, talent development and succession; escalate issues accordingly and contribute to performance reviews

About You

  • SSSTS or SMSTS qualified
  • HSE Three Day First Aid desirable
  • Essential to have experience of Social Housing, Refurbishment/Planned works
  • Must be an enthusiastic selfstarter with confident communications skills
  • People Supervision and first line management experience desirable
  • Good working knowledge of relevant Health & Safety procedures.
  • Confident IT skills, proficient in the use of MS Office
  • Must be flexible in hours of work and hold a Full UK Driving Licence
  • This role will require a DBS check
