Our client is a Chartered Accountancy practice who is looking for a part time Administrator to assist in their Tax department.
This a great opportunity for a local person who is looking for flexibility of a role with hours flexible to 20-25 hours per week.
The main role is to support the tax department with the day-to-day management of existing and new clients and ensuring managing all administration and compliance documents.
The role does not require a person so have a a tax or accountancy background but this would be ideally need someone with strong administration and organisational skills.
Responsibilities
- Administrate the various Tax department processes including collation of documentation and data for; withholding tax process for tax treaty relief, including communication with necessary bodies. Transfer pricing, including collation of data from subsidiaries' Finance Managers and maintaining tracking schedule of reports.
- Liaising with clients to ensure all documentation is received and accurate.
- Collate financial and other supporting data to assist Tax Manager in preparing the company's PAYE Settlement Agreement and PMI report to HMRC.
- Collate data for quarterly tax reporting and any reconciliations required for the review of the Tax Manager
- Collate appropriate documentation and data for tax returns/financial statements/tax refund requests/ tax audits for the review of the Tax Manager.
- Assist Tax Manager with preparation of supporting schedules for group annual corporation tax computation
- Assist on ad hoc queries.
- Administrative duties including among others maintaining all corporate tax files (electronic) as well as regular archiving.
- Assist in completing administrative tasks including printing, scanning, filing and forms
- Receive and record new client information
- Upload new client data onto Iris
- Ensure client recordings are saved
- Assist in meeting preparation
- Use of Sage 50, Sage One, Iris and Quickbooks
- Dealing with client queries, communicating with HMRC
