My client, an established local independent property advisor and commercial agent working for Landlords and Tenants predominantly in the Richmond upon Thames area but also within the M25, are actively recruiting for an
experienced Senior Surveyor to join their growing team.

Key Duties:

Building surveys on residential and commercial properties of varying types
Undertaking schedules of condition inspections and producing reports
Acting as Contract Administrator on varying project values from £15,000 £2 Million on external repairs/refurbishment projects on residential properties as well as office/warehouse refurbishments
Party Wall instructions
Acting on behalf of Landlords inspecting and serving dilapidations schedules
Acting on behalf of Tenants inspecting properties and negotiating dilapidations schedules served by Landlords.
Undertaking Fire Insurance Valuations/Building Reinstatement Cost Assessments
Providing project feasibility advice to clients
Understanding of the Construction Design and Management (CDM/Health & Safety) Regulations
Costing and budgeting repair and refurbishment works.
Work collaboratively with other departments/colleagues to generate new instructions.
Acting as an ambassador for the company.
Manage budgets and billing independently.
Developing and maintaining a strong network of external contacts

Qualifications:

Degree qualified and full member of RICS
RICS qualified surveyor 2 years + post qualification experience
Experience in building surveying including; Commercial Building surveys; Schedules of Condition; Preparation of Schedules and Negotiation of Dilapidations; Contract Administration; Development Monitoring; Planned Preventative Maintenance plans/schedules;Reinstatement Cost Assessments
