The School
This lovely well-organised primary school is based in a very mixed diverse area in the central Norwich. The school is easily accessible via public transport and has on-site parking for staff.

There is a supportive and experienced leadership in team at place in the school and there is a good staff team in place who work collaboratively to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.


  • Be extremely organised in administration and data management
  • Working knowledge of MIS system
  • Have a friendly and calm approach with the ability to work independently and report to management
  • Administration relating to admission and transition
  • Attendance record keeping for pupils and staff
  • Following the attendance protocol, including first day calling
  • Formulating strategies with parents to improve attendance, including having difficult meetings where this isn't working
  • Running attendance plans with parents, including where necessary getting documentation ready for court proceedings
  • Support school stock management and monitoring, including for first aid.
  • Routine admin tasks and any other duties as may be reasonably required by the school business manager
- daily use of Word, Excel and MIS
- updating county reports, including CME
- attending county attendance meetings and implementing what learnt


We would prefer a person with a minimum of 1 years' experience managing admissions/attendance within a school, however, if training needs to be put in place to support the successful person, this can also happen to get the right person for our role.

The purpose of this post is to fulfil our responsibility in the safeguarding of our children and enhance the life chances by thinking about the whole family and what we can do to support them.

You will be expected to carry out a wide range of administration duties including first aid. You will need to be flexible, to have discretion and the ability to use your initiative is essential.
