The family of a non-verbal 5-year-old girl with Autism and profound learning disabilities, living in the Whitehavenarea are currently recruiting for 2 x Personal Assistants/Care Workers to support their daughter on a 2-1 basis in the local community.


Support will include (but not limited to):

  • Supervision whilst playing both inside and outside
  • Confidence building through visits out without parents to activities such as soft play or similar
  • Engaging with outdoor activities away from home.
  • Promoting Independence through play and learning as required
  • Support with Personal Care


2-1 Support is required for 2hrs per week during Term Time and 4hrs per week during holidays - there is potential for these hours to be worked flexibly in mutual agreement with the employer, Further information of the role and working arrangements to be discussed at interview.


Job Type:

Salary:
£10.50 per hour

Expected hours: - 4 per week
