Stock Controller

Location:
Ipswich


Salary:
up to 28k


Reed Procurement & Supply Chain are proud to be working with a fantastic family run company who are looking to take on a stock controller to work within the operations team based in Ipswich.


What is involved?

  • Setting up new stock codes
  • Raise intake notes/labels etc. & Con or upload CSV file
  • Pin containers on Destin8 system
  • Book transport for container collections
  • Check all customs paperwork received if applicable and receipt on HMRC site.
  • Send copy of intake notes and photos to customers if required.
  • Capture additional charges for handling.
  • Complete store transfers for goods cleared out of Bond & file clearance paperwork with intake note.
  • Make any delivery bookings.
  • Check all stock is customs cleared and relevant paperwork received for bonded goods.
  • Sort out any picking discrepancies.
  • Raise any customs paperwork (W5D/EAD etc.)
  • Invoice any W5D's raised where our deferment account is used.

Key Skills Needed

  • Customs knowledge is essential.
  • Working knowledge of Destin8 & Rubicon
  • Great attention to detail
  • Good communication skills
  • Forklift licence would be beneficial.
