Your New Role as the Purchase Ledger Clerk:
As Purchase Ledger Clerk you will report into the Purchase Team Leader and join a small but growing team. You will be responsible for ensuring the timely processing of purchase invoices following company policy and procedures.
Day to day duties:
- Receiving and processing supplier invoices
- Resolving Supplier queries
- Processing of BACS payment runs
- Matching/batching/coding
- Account Reconciliations
- Process and pay expenses
- Monthly supplier reconciliations
- Cash book analysis
- Electronic/ manual payments
- Booking of travel requirements
- Stationery & logbook Ordering
- Assist Purchase Ledger Manager on AI system implementation
- Other adhoc duties
Experience & Qualifications Required to Apply:
- Good organisation and time management skills with high attention to detail and an ability to plan, prioritise and adapt to meet timescales and deadlines
- PC literate with good communication and Excel skills
- Can work autonomously and as part of a team
