Position:


Role Purpose

  • To assist in the production of the fund accounts, financial statements and long reports in accordance with the SORP and FRS10
  • To assist in the production of fund tax computations and the completion of fund tax documentation
  • Ensure that FCA regulations are adhered to
  • Manage and minimise risk, including reputational risk
  • Ensure adherence to client service level agreements

Key Responsibilities

  • To prepare audit workbook for interim and annual accounts
  • To prepare interim and annual financial statements and report documents
  • To prepare quarterly fund tax reviews
  • To reconcile the foreign withholding tax on dividends
  • To prepare comparative tables
  • To prepare dividend streaming schedules for underlying assets in collective investment schemes

Requirements:


Essential Skills:

  • Good numerical skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Accurate data inputting skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to problem solve and deal with complex queries
  • Ability to prioritise & work to strict deadlines
  • PC literacy and internet skills
  • Professional telephone manner

Beneficial Skills:

  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Experience of working in an accounts environment

Essential Qualifications:

  • 5 GCSE's Grade A-C (must include Mathematics and English)

Beneficial Qualifications:

  • Completion or working towards the IOC (Investment Operations Certificate) qualification

Beneficial Experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
